Derek Liu - Founder & Executive Director

Derek is a transit advocate from Gig Harbor and the founder of CSYTA. He leads the organization’s outreach, communications, and policy efforts, with a focus on making transit more accessible, efficient, and youth-inclusive across the Puget Sound region.

Eason Wang - Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer

Eason is passionate about sustainable cities and strong public infrastructure. As Chief Financial Officer of CSYTA, he oversees the organization’s budgeting, planning, and operational strategy. He also contributes to design efforts that support more equitable and effective transit systems across the Central Puget Sound region.

We’re a small but passionate team of students committed to making public transit better — not just for ourselves, but for everyone in the Puget Sound region.

Our team culture is open, collaborative, and action-oriented. Whether we’re attending board meetings, creating content, or collecting feedback, we focus on amplifying youth voices and making sure they’re heard where it matters.
